I have many good things to say about this companies products and the best thing is you can get a free trial right here for 30 days from Computer System Enhancing (part of Activelids Links) and the other good thing is you can enjoy a full security suite and change it to the free version, if you can't purchase it just yet but with a free trial you will see your system run very clean and the system scan is a behind the scene function.
The download takes a bit of time I think about 15 minutes and then it will scan your computer to check for any security errors But once your system is scanned and safe it will automatically shut down any other security solution you have on your computer. You will also be advised about the harm some freeware programs actually pretend they are helping right from the software.
The AVG full version will automatically adjust the firewall to the particular usage you are used to after it does a default setting of your system configuration. But you don't have to worry it only quarentines suspected software and doesn't actually delete them. As an example I had Windows Defender installed and running but was advised it was not efficient enough and actually interferes with AVG full version but when my trial period was done I am now using both as the free versions. Avg will work well with any browser as well as I tried Ie8 first then removed the default and installed Firefox as the default which I never had a problem. After a day of use I removed firefox and installed Google Chrome as default with Ie8 as backup and it is a bit slower due to both browser file sizes.I then decided to try SlimBrowser with a default setting and left Ie8 which amazed me of the speed SlimBrowser had. Each time I removed or installed a different browser the Avg task bar window appeared and advised me of its adjustments to the firewall so I even tried it with a couple of registry cleaners I also have access to and the advice window did the same!
Now for around $50 you could purchase Avg products and I would advise to purchase the full version as it works quite a bit quicker than microsoft products and is more efficient than BitDefender or Avast and others that are just as good but laggy with scans and everyday usage for some browsers.

Optimizing with Software and the Benefits that arise

 When anyone purchases a new computer they expect it to run smoothly and efficiently for months to come ,after all the cost is sometimes quite high . An expectancy of a new computer is that you should at least get a year out of it before you need to upgrade software or ram and disk drives for storage. 

  In my case the cost was minimized due to the income I had but that did not stop me from finding the tools necessary to upgrade my $200.00 Laptop .On the Compaq nc8000 was a D-LINK wireless adaptor ,windows xp sp2, and a 40GB hard drive .

  I had surfed the web for information about many things when I started to have problems with system crashes (BLUE SCREEN) ,which was later determined as a Trojan. Once the problem was removed I had more system errors to fix but this all happened within 2 months of purchasing the rebuilt laptop. After 4 months of use on this system It started to become very slow responding to my needs ,since I I had no prior experience with diagnostics more surfing was needed to find the tools & knowledge to properly diagnose this slow system .

   In surfing the web I have learned a lot about how the system slows down and needs protection from virus and malware ,however affording them was another problem . So My system went through some major changes including using two Hard drive disks due to not being able to properly transfer system files to the larger disk which was on a USB cable to use the original 40GB drive as a system drive which was becoming full with files taking up the space until Microsoft support was able to set the Registry to redirect the downloads to the 160GB drive . It turns out this exercise was a bit of a headache with loose Usb cables and failure of certain components not reading or writing ,ENOUGH with the headaches !

   Putting that frustration aside I now have a very smooth running system and feel it is fairly secure and it has XP3 pro with 1.5GB ram, 160GB disk space, I have three security programs ,all of which provide different functions and if Truth be known this system still only cost me approximately $600.00 so far with all these upgrades and security and registry enhancers now have access to three of those as well.

   The gist of this blog? When your system is new or used or rebuilt you will need to get enhancers to solve the registry,security, and storage problems you will come across !

    These programs are just a few of what I have found but they are the trusted ones that worked well for me and remember if you use your computer daily check it weekly for errors .
